Montreal-based Silanis Technology, Inc. today announced that Silanis President and Co-founder Tommy Petrogiannis has been named one of Canada's Top 40 Under 40(TM) for the year 2000.
Canada's Top 40 Under 40(TM) is a national program that honors Canadians who have reached a significant level of success but have not yet reached the age of 40.
Tommy Petrogiannis' vision, leadership and community spirit contributed to his receiving this year's award. Since 1992, Petrogiannis has led Silanis to a leadership position in an entirely new product market: electronic signature and approval software. Throughout 2001, Silanis' growth strategy will see the company steadily add to its current team of over 95 employees as the company spearheads industry adoption of secure electronic signing between businesses. Silanis' ongoing success is due in large part to its customer-driven products, such as the recently introduced ApproveIt(TM) Collaboration Server that will allow organizations like GMAC Commercial Mortgage to finalize B2B transactions electronically--not on paper.
