Following its acquisition of Charter Research, a provider of analytic software for the commercial real estate finance industry, Standard & Poor's has made three key appointments.
Kathy D. Rainey has been appointed managing director of the Standard & Poor's/Charter Research unit. Michael A. Ervolini and Harold J. A. Haig have been named principals of the unit.
These individuals will "represent the senior management team responsible for leading the strategy and growth of the business unit," Standard & Poor's said, under Joanne Rose, executive managing director of Standard & Poor's structured finance group.
In her new position, Ms. Rainey will facilitate the integration of the Charter operations within Standard & Poor's, the company said.
She will also be responsible for business development and the management of the day-to-day operations of the unit.
