MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University's chapter of Mortar Board, a national college senior honor society that recognizes outstanding achievement in scholarship, leadership and service, has selected 35 new members for the 2001-2002 school year. New members are selected during the spring of their junior year.
An initiation ceremony was held April 1. Initiated as an honorary member was Carla Jones, K-State's associate dean of student life.
