NEW DELHI, June 1 Asia Pulse - India has said it would examine a proposed plan by the Association of the Coffee Producing Countries (ACPC) for the elimination of poor-quality beans from the market, but has rejected the group's retention plan.
"During the recent meeting of ACPC in London, India dismissed the efficacy and utility of the coffee retention plan but has agreed to examine the proposal of eliminating the low quality beans (LQBs) in order to shore up the prices," official sources told PTI.
