PAKISTAN TO PREPARE ENERGY PLANS.
ISLAMABAD, June 1 Asia Pulse - The government intends to prepare three-year and 10-year perspective plans on the energy sector in order to gauge future energy demand and to draft energy policies.
Official sources said the energy wing of the government's planning and development division has been identified as a focal point to co-ordinate efforts of various federal government institutions towards preparing the perspective plans.
The three-year plan (up to 2004) would set priorities of the next three years and a 10-year plan to be completed by 2012 would take into account a long-term strategy to meet national energy ...
