ISLAMABAD, June 1 Asia Pulse - The World Bank, the Asian Development Bank and the World Food Programme are expected to grant Pakistan a US$250 million drought relief package.
Sources in the multilateral agencies said that the losses caused by drought have been estimated at US$950 million.
Both the banks and WFP have said there was a serious need to finalise a special drought package with the "fiscal intervention" of the government.
