SYDNEY, June 1 Asia Pulse - Waste Management NZ Ltd (ASX:WNZ) has announced plans to acquire two waste businesses for a total of $A23 million ($US11.63 million).

WAM said it had entered into agreements to buy Brisbane-based Barkoola Environmental for $12.5 million, and Melbourne's Hines Waste Technology for $10.4 million.
