SEOUL, June 1 Asia Pulse - The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry said Friday water levels at reservoirs across the country are getting lower due to a two-month drought.
The ministry said water levels at the 17,956 reservoirs around the country amounted to only 66 per cent of capacity, even with the rain fell at the end of last month in southern regions.
Water level in these reservoirs over the past 20 years has averaged 73 per cent.
By region, Kangwon Province was the lowest with 47 per cent, followed by Kyonggi ...
