NEW DELHI, June 1 Asia Pulse - Ortem fan maker Metro Appliances has announced its entry into the European market with the first export order from Spain, thereby claiming to become the first Indian fan company to enter a market dominated by China.

The managing director of Metro Appliances, Rummy Chhabra, told PTI Thursday: "ORTEM has decided not to give up to Chinese invasion. So we are all set to give the Chinese a run for their money in the European markets".

Chhabra said the company was also exploring other European and American markets for its new fan range.
