Equal Time
I enjoyed reading the article "G4 versus PIII" on pg. 62 of the March 2001 issue. Now that Macs have started to ship with the OS X operating system, and the most current top-of-the-line G4 workstations can stand toe to toe with any Windows-based system, Apple certainly has a solid position with 3D CAD users such as myself. I am a long time formZ user and I work in the CAD industry with both Microsoft Windows and Mac-based products. I am pleased that your magazine takes a balanced look at different operating systems, particularly with respect to the 3D CAD industry.
