The databases we review in this issue represent a variety of approaches to putting reference works online, ranging from Gale's Health and Wellness Resource Center, which follows the usual Gale model of folding the maximum numbers and kinds of resources into one package, to the more modest title-by-title strategy adopted by Greenwood for Literature in Context Online. Other publishers, such as Grolier, offer seamless searching across a number of different databases.
