This issue, combining Booklist's Spotlight on Science Fiction and Fantasy with the Spring Electronic Media Showcase, has been a tough one for us. It wasn't long ago that we had to scramble to find online databases to review for our Spring and Fall Electronic Media Showcase issues, and the fact that we are offering the most database reviews ever for a single issue is a sign of how much bigger a part of the reference world electronic media have become. Having exhausted our energies on the electronic stuff, we find we have neither space nor time left for sci fi, with one exception--the review on p. 1584 of the second edition of Garland's Science Fiction, Horror and Fantasy Film...
