TOKYO, July 2 Asia Pulse - The June Nikkei consumer forecast index was 1.5 points below the previous result in March, the Nikkei Research Institute of Industry and Markets reported Friday.

For June, the index, which takes June 1985 as its base of 100, was 86.9.
