SEOUL, July 2 Asia Pulse - Shares below par value accounted for 36.3 per cent of the 658 listed companies, according to the Korea Stock Exchange Monday.
Shares priced below 10,000 won (US$7.70) represented 58.21 per cent of the total.
Stocks priced between 5,000 won and 10,000 won accounted for 21.88 per cent, 10,000 won to 20,000 won 20.52 per cent and those above 30,000 won 12.77 per cent.
Stocks priced between 3,000 won and 4,000 won represented 9.12 per cent, those priced between 2,000 won and 3,000 won 8.51 per cent.
