SYDNEY, June 29 Asia Pulse - Telstra Corp Ltd (ASX:TEL) had bought 382,000 additional Keycorp Ltd shares to maintain its majority share holding position in the smart card development group, Keycorp said today.

Keycorp said Telstra's share holding in the company had been diluted by recent share issues by Keycorp.

Telstra paid a total of A$1.8 million (US$908,640) for the additional shares.

Telstra bought 224,313 shares at $4.50 a share and 157,687 shares at $5.02 a share, these being the prices of previous share issues by Keycorp on April 17, 2001 and May 16, 2001.

Keycorp said the shares were issued to Telstra according to the share…
