Oklahoma Legislature Struggles With Prefiling Notice Requirements

The May 2001 issue of Business Credit carried this author's article "Oklahoma Lien Laws-A Primer." Since that issue was published, the Oklahoma Legislature has adopted a revised procedure for Prefiling Notice Requirements applicable to subcontractors owed more than $2,500 on non-residential jobs.
