MANHATTAN -- The Kansas State University Marching Band has announced members of the Classy Cats dance squad, the flag squad and the twirling squad for the 2001-2002 school year.
Members of the three band auxiliary units were selected through tryouts. The squads perform at home football games, parades, pep rallies and other events. Auxiliary squad members for the coming school year are:
Lindsay Hoover, freshman in open option-arts and sciences, Anthony, twirler; Karly McKinley, freshman in elementary education, Basehor, Classy Cats; Amanda Hoyt, freshman in pre-health professions program, Burlington, flag squad.
From Derby: Tara Adam, freshman in pre-health professions program, Classy Cats; Kristin Coleman, freshman in pre-health professions program, flag squad; Maggie Harkin, freshman in secondary education, flag squad; and Kaci Larimore, freshman in biology, flag squad.
