13-Year-Old Will Stay in Custody

LAS VEGAS, N.M. -- A 13-year-old girl charged with fatally shooting a boy of the same age Friday night was on probation for a weapons charge at the time.

Katrina Gonzales, 13, of the 300 block of Bernalillo Street appeared Wednesday afternoon before District Judge Eugenio Mathis to formally hear the charges against her -- at this point, one count each of involuntary manslaughter and conspiracy to tamper with evidence. She entered a denial of those allegations against her.

Gonzales is accused of shooting Adrian Lucero-Urioste, also 13, in the head with a .25 caliber…
