Here was the obsessed and restless hoops nomad, finally in the NBA Finals after 2 9 years of chasing rifles and greener job pastures. And there he was on the podium, talking not about his fulfilled basketball dream but his family, which includes two young children of his own. We never thought of Brown as a doting homebody as he bounced from--deep breath--Carolina to Denver to UCLA to New Jersey to Kansas to San Antonio to Los Angeles to Indiana to Philadelphia. His existence was something out of either a Rand McNally store or a U2 song.
