The 76ers have a chance (OK, it's a small one) to knock off the Lakers in The Finals, and here's how they can do it

We set out with a simple objective: Assemble a panel of assistant coaches from around the league and have them put together a game plan that would guide the 76ers through The Finals. Not just any game plan, but a fool-proof instruction manual that would guarantee Philadelphia could knock off the seemingly invincible Lakers, or at least make the series an interesting one. What we got was open mike night at the TSN Comedy Club.

"Realistically, the chances of the Lakers losing are the same as Mike Dunleavy getting his job back," one coach says. "Or getting his hair back for that matter."

Badda-bing! Take my wife ... please!

"How do you beat the Lakers?" another coach wondered. "Pray. Holy water. Buddhism, meditating, Allah, voodoo, whatever it takes. Just cover all your bases."

I just flew in from Baltimore ... and, boy, are my arms tired! But seriously, folks ...

Now, we don't want these Finals to deteriorate into some cheap punchline, do we? Never mind that the Sixers just might be the biggest underdog in the history of the NBA's championship series--maybe in the history of all sports for that matter.
