All in the Family

I enjoyed "Why I Love my Far-Out Family" [A/M '01]. I especially like the part about Elyse and Melanie. Elyse actually goes to my school. I don't really know her, but I learned so much from your article. Kudos for having such a great article on a small-town girl and an awesome sister.

Ashley

Thanks for "Why I Love my Far-Out Family." I'm 14, and I have a 19-year-old sister with Down syndrome. I loved reading about Elyse and Melanie because I can relate to their situation. There are so many girls who don't see that disabled people are people too. Thanks again!
