Medicaid spending may swell to around 10% annually "in the near future," in part because nursing home costs are expected to increase, according to a new report.
Researchers from the Washington-based Urban Institute said Medicaid spending on nursing homes is likely to increase because the current nursing shortage would drive up labor costs.
