WASHINGTON -- The American Institute of CPAs is preparing to launch the much-anticipated Internet portal, cpa2biz.com, amid some high hopes.

"We stand on the brink of enormous opportunities for us and our members," AICPA president Barry Melancon said at the spring meeting of the institute's governing Council, held here earlier this month.
