Taltarni wines are imported by Clos Du Val Wine Co. in Napa. We tasted the 1998 Estate Shiraz in October. It's made from vines up to 25 years old, is spicy, with good body and a fairly high pH (3.73). It's fair to say I never met a Shiraz, or a Sirah or Syrah or a Petty Sarah I didn't like. No exception here. You could age this Shiraz, but if you are as impatient/impetuous as I am, why not pull the cork now?
