While the endless debate goes on concerning global warming, Tesco, the U.K. supermarket chain, has taken some practical steps. According to Reuters, Tesco has snapped up the entire crop of English nouveau from the U.K.'s leading vineyard because it believes global warming could turn Britain into a top wine producer.

Tesco even did a reverse dash across the English Channel to take 5,500 cases of English nouveau, produced by Three Choirs in Gloucestershire, to Paris last November...
