Once again, marc Packer demonstrates his gift for creating something Manhattan night crawlers want. In the 1980s, it was Packer's prescience that lower Park Avenue could sizzle. It did at his casual Italian Canastel's. He encored with an early embrace of meat mania at Angelo & Maxie's. Mr. Packer's Harley-Davidson Cafe roared uptown, Rue 57 and Avra showed a free-ranging eye for ethnic eats, and Tao-well, Tao tops them all.
