MASHHAD, KHORASSAN PROVINCE, Feb 5 Asia Pulse - Iran and Tajikistan have explored practical mechanisms for boosting tourism and economic cooperation between the Iranian province of Khorassan and the Tajik province of Sogdiana.

Provincial officials of the two sides assessed the economic potentials of the two provinces, and called for further promotion of cultural ties and exchange of students and professors among universities, taking into consideration their common language and existing cultural bonds.
