SYDNEY, Feb 2 Asia Pulse - The Australian stockmarket opened weaker despite a rise on Wall Street overnight.
The benchmark S&P/ASX200 was down 8.5 points at 3355.8 shortly after opening, with the all ordinaries index fell 7.6 points to 3304.2.
