BEIJING, Feb 2 Asia Pulse - China Reinsurance Company posted 14.43 billion yuan (US$1.74 billion) of premiums for 2000, an increase of 17.65 per cent over 1999.
It paid out 6.958 billion yuan in indemnities and the returns on assets averaged 7 per cent in the year.
