Director for Supervision Siti Fajriah said the four banks are now under the supervision of a Special Surveillance Unit (SSU).
Siti said that the four banks, all small banks with capital below Rp500 billion (US$53 million), could still be saved from the possibility of liquidation as investors have agreed to acquire their shares.
