INDONESIAN CERAMIC CO PROPOSES TO RESTRUCTURE DEBT
JAKARTA - Ceramics producer KIA said it has proposed to restructure a debt of US$100 million and it is now negotiating with its creditors.
Company president Budi Hadidaya said the US$100 million debt includes US$12 million in loan interest, and 10 per cent of the debt is owed to the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA). Other creditors are foreign bank syndicates.
CREDITOR BANKS TO BACK UP HYUNDAI CONSTRUCTION'S OVERSEAS WORK
SEOUL - The government is in the process of providing guarantees to back up Hyundai Engineering and Construction Co.'s overseas projects, a high-ranking official of the Financial Supervisory Commission said Thursday.
He said domestic banks are in the middle of preparing to issue guarantees for the builder's overseas projects as the construction company has secured enough of its funding needs.
