HK'S FAR EAST CONSORTIUM COMPLETES ACQUISTION OF TWO HOTELS.
HONG KONG, Feb 1 Asia Pulse - Locally listed Far East Consortium International Limited (SEHK:0035) said it has completed the agreements made on October 24, 2000 relating to the acqusition of two hotels in Hong Kong.
The company paid HK$338 million (US$43.3 million) to acquire Pearl Garden Hotel and Pearl Seaview Hotel.
The names for Pearl Garden Hotel and Pearl Seaview Hotel are changed to Dorsett Garden Hotel and Dorsett Seaview Hotel respectively, Far East Consortium said in a statement to the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.
