LUZON EXPORTERS TO OPEN OUTLETS IN CEBU.
CEBU CITY, Feb 1 Asia Pulse - After a successful product testing here, two Luzon-based manufacturing companies have decided to establish their presence in the area.
Likas Burdang Lumbang and MERR-C Embroideries, two of the 80 exhibitors at the 2nd Sinulog Export Overruns and Consumer Bazaar at the SM Cebu trade hall, will soon open their outlets at SM City Cebu.
According to Likas Burdang Lumbang Cooperative chairman Carlito Abadier, the dynamic demand in Cebu for the coop's pina barongs impressed on them the urgency to open a local outlet.
"It was the Cebuano customers who encouraged us to open a shop here as soon as possible, And we are going to open one as soon as SM will be able to give us a good location," he told reporters.
