ZAMBOANGA CITY, Feb 1 Asia Pulse - The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) regional office IX is currently conducting a Rapid Appriasal of the Regional Economy (RARE) survey in the region.
NEDA Regional Information Officer Susan Valerio said the survey started last January 22 and will wind up on February 2, this year, to cover the fourth quarter of 2000.
RARE is a quarterly activity to generate response and opinion on the prevailing economic situation.
Traders, business people in agriculture, industry including transportation and communication, hotel and restaurant, exports, tourism are interviewed for imputs into the survey.
Leaders of non-government and government entitles are not included as key informants in the survery.
