C-MAC ANNOUNCES RECORD FOURTH QUARTER AND YEAR-END

RESULTS 118% INCREASE IN REVENUES, 194% GROWTH IN NET EARNINGS

C-MAC Industries Inc. a global leader of integrated electronic systems manufacturing and engineering solutions, today announced the financial results for its fourth quarter and year ended 2000.

Fourth quarter ended December 31, 2000: - Revenue for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2000 reached $856.3 million, an increase of 119% over the corresponding period in 1999, when C-MAC generated revenues of $391.7 million. - Net earnings before goodwill amortization increased by 137% to $0.71 per share on a fully diluted basis compared to $0.30 per share in 1999. - Net earnings as a percentage of revenue increased to 6.4% compared to 4.5% for the same period in 1999. Year ended December 31, 2000: - For the year ended December 31, 2000, C-MAC has more than doubled its revenue to $ 2.55 billion, representing an increase of 118% over the $1.17 billion generated in the same period in 1999. - Net earnings before goodwill amortization increased to $1.95 per share on a fully diluted basis compared to $0.80 per share in 1999, an increase of 144% year over year. - Net earnings amounted to $132.8 million, or 5.2% of revenue, versus $45.2 million, or 3.9% of revenue in 1999. - Cash flow from operations for the year 2000 totaled $197 million, compared to $74 million in 1999, representing an increase of 166%. - The order book stood at more that $1.4 billion as at December 31, 2000
