PeopleSoft`s, operations in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region delivered a significant contribution to the company`s overall performance in the fourth quarter of 2000. The region showed a 108% licence revenue increase over the previous quarter. This performance demonstrates strong market demand for PeopleSoft`s eBusiness enterprise applications and commitment to a company that is delivering to market needs.
"The fourth quarter of 2000 reflects the momentum we have following the availability of our completely re-architected pure internet eBusiness applications in September. Since then we have seen over 150 organisations invest in PeopleSoft 8 across the EMEA region," Commented Guy Dubois, executive vice president, international operations at PeopleSoft. "PeopleSoft is the only pure internet eBusiness suite on the market. Today, PeopleSoft 8 is creating real-time collaborative enterprise between customers, suppliers and employees."
