THE BIG SCREEN: There are so many films being made about them, Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge just might end up with a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. A young film crew has been following the pair and everyone else in the atelier for the past two months to do a documentary about the couture process. Meanwhile, sources said that director John Maybury has an option to do a film based on the Saint Laurent biography by Alice Rawsthorn. And, finally, word has it that director Olivier Meyrou, who did a short film called "5 Marceau" about Saint Laurent's 40th-anniversary celebration in 1998, is getting set to edit two years of footage -- much of it candid, some of it explosive -- into an independent, feature-length version. Stay tuned.
