Credit and Financial Development Division of NACM
During CFDD's Diamond Jubilee, we thought it fitting to recognize this organization's accomplishments over the past 75 years. This month, we focus on how CFDD can meet its members' educational and program needs.
Career Development
NACM's Credit and Financial Development Division (also known as CFDD), provides its members with a variety of educational options.
Chapters host monthly meetings where speakers present topics which members have identified needing information on for career development. CFDD national by-laws require at least 80 percent of the meeting topics be finance or credit related. Other meeting topics address a broad range of personal or professional growth issues. Most of these monthly presentations qualify for CEU points to the attendee. Chapters also sponsor local seminars several times a year.
In addition, CFDD offers annual regional conferences where several chapters gather at a host chapter's city to broaden their networking capabilities, as well as earn valuable Continuing Education Units for the many sessions offered. In fact, most chapters offer their members CEU points on their attendance at monthly meetings as well as seminars. Member pricing is available to the CFDD member. CFDD members also enjoy NACM member pricing when attending the annual Credit Congress, a four-day education-packed conference with a variety of sessions offered, all with Continuing Education Units.
