The Izzone or the Cameron Crazies? Jason Kapono or Casey Jacobsen? Indianapolis or San Antonio? Here's our vote for the game's best student section, top shooter and fave Final Four site, plus a whole lot of other things we love about the game.

After two months, we've learned Syracuse is the college game's best-kept secret; the ticky-tack stuff under the basket is best left uncalled, and the best man for the UNLV job may be an out-of-work general with three national championship rings and a terrible temper.

But do you know who supermodel Emme thinks is the best-dressed coach stalking the sidelines? Or where Bill Self believes is the best place to grab a bite after a game? Or which Division I coach puts on a feather hat and pretends he's Carnac as part of the best coach's show on TV?

We do. With an assist from a bunch of coaches, some sports information directors and one of People's 50 Most Beautiful People, we came up with a list of the stuff we like most about college basketball.

But as every fan knows, the best is yet to come. So for those just tuning in to the hoops season, here's a primer to help bring you up to speed on the best the game has to offer. For those who have been caught up in it all since Midnight Madness, feel free to contest our answers at sportingnews.com.

Best two-sport athlete: Julius Peppers, North Carolina. A punishing power forward, Peppers finished a sack short of Lawrence Taylor's single-season UNC record.

Best future pro: Eddie Griffin, Seton Hall
