Joanie Mae Freeman
Joanie Mae Freeman, 86, Parrish, died Jan. 3, 2001.
She was born Oct. 28, 1914, in Blountstown and came to Parrish in the early 1920s from there. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include a son, John H. Custer Jr. of Bradenton; a sister, Lucille Huffman of Bradenton; a brother, S.A. Holton of Tampa; a niece, Mary Lou Murray of Parrish; five grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Service will be private. Bradenton Funeral Home is in charge.
Memorial donations may be made to The Salvation Army, P.O. Box 1179, Bradenton, FL 34206.
