NEW DELHI, Jan 1 Asia Pulse - Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Essar Shipping and Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) are among the four companies left in race for state-owned Petronet LNG Ltd's contract for transporting five million tonnes of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) from Qatar to PLL's terminal at Dahej in Gujarat.
While Essar Shipping has tied up with Malaysia International Shipping Corporation (MISC), IOC has roped in Exmar of Belgium and domestic private sector Greater Eastern Shipping Company (GESCO) for its maiden foray into LNG transporation business, PLL sources said.
