SEOUL, Jan 2 Asia Pulse - The Korea Deposit Insurance Corp. said Saturday it could not accept the written consent for Seoul Bank's management normalization plan provided by its union as it does not fulfill stated requirements.

The government specified that in addition to specific bank union leaders, the president of the financial unions' umbrella organization also sign the written consent.

However, Hanvit, Peace, Kwangju, Kyongnam and Cheju banks all submitted union approvals signed by regional representatives, not Lee Yong-deuk, president of the Korea Financial Industry ...
