It is a bit more forward and clear-sounding than Telarc 80056 (recorded in 1980), with a bit more bass drum fullness, although the Telarc drum goes a bit deeper and its soundstage spread, dynamic contrasts, and orchestral/soloist perspective were a bit more workable.
