Who Loves You? A Tribute to Jaco Pastorius (Concord Jazz CCD-4929-2)

A little gripe before I go-go ... In the liner notes, the Who Loves You? title is said to have been used because Jaco Pastorius borrowed it from Kojak and used to use it as a greeting. That may well be, but Kojak's phrase was, "Who loves you, baby?," and it is hard to imagine that a hip dude from the '70s would have left the "baby" out with the bathwater. Back to the music ...
