SEOUL, Aug 1 Asia Pulse - PDP TVs made by Korean makers are being sold in foreign markets at prices almost double that of domestic prices, according to electronics industry sources Wednesday.
LG Electronics Co. has been exporting 60-inch PDP TVs at US$23,000 to US$25,000 per set to the Middle East region. The TVs are sold at 17.9 million won (US$13,770) domestically.
The same TVs are sold in China at 180,000 yuan (US$22,000) and the firm plans to sell the TVs at about US$25,000 in Europe and the United States.
