SEOUL, August 1 Asia Pulse - Australian authorities notified the government that agricultural chemicals were detected in its meats, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry said Wednesday.
The official paper from Australian authorities reported that 0.02 mg to 0.07 mg of Bioresmethrin (BRM) per kilogram of meat was found in four out of 1,024 residue tests conducted by Australian authorities since July 2000.
The BRM source was traced to feed treated with BRM, but the notice added the substance was not harmful to humans.
