Government and corporate officials are urging computer users to watch out for "Code Red" -- not the soft drink, but the worm that causes Internet-wide slowdowns and outages.

Together, they have launched an informational campaign through the Internet and media, warning of possible impacts of the latest computer virus that is trying to bring down the Internet.
