Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (WMT, NYSE, 12-month range $41.44 -- $64.94) principally is engaged in the operation of mass-merchandising stores, which serve customers primarily through the operation of three segments.

The Wal-Mart Stores segment includes the company's discount stores and Supercenters in the United States. The Sam's Club segment includes the warehouse membership clubs in the United States.

The international segment includes all operations in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, Korea, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom.
