What's wrong with these pictures?
(1) The Charmin Cuddly Bear ($3.99 with purchase) is enveloping a four-pack of toilet paper in its furry paws. But don't try this at home. As that little smudge of type by the bear's shoulder reveals, "Bear height is approximately 8 inches." That's barely enough to bear-hug a tissue.
(2) This computer station, the copy says, "frees up space, lets you work more comfortably!" Indeed, a reader said, it looked great--until she noticed a reason for the lack of clutter: There's not a PC case or a wire to be seen.
(3) "Remember going fishing when you were a child--and the 'big one' that got away?" asks the HearthSong catalog. Well, this kid is apt to remember lots of fish that got away if he keeps using a rod with the reel mounted backward (the spool of line should be turned around).
(4) The Glitter Cream Gelis where? And the warning says what?
(5) The poor fingernail pictured here has taken a beating. Notice how both "before" nails, the yellow one and the dry one, morph into the same "after" ...
