You can never have enough of a good thing, right? At this year's NFL draft, many teams ignored pressing needs in order to stockpile talent at a particular position or to bolster a unit that already had showed some strength.

The Cardinals immediately come to mind as a team that took that route. They had the second overall pick in the draft and an obvious need for help on defense. However, instead of selecting the best defensive player on the team's draft board--tackle Gerard Warren out of Florida--coach Dave McGinnis went for more help on offense.
